Weekend Recreation Outlook

On Thursday, October 27, Youghiogheny River Lake was at
elevation 1427.0’ (NAVD88) and rising, with the dam releasing 1600 cfs,
and the Ohiopyle gage at 4.0’ and rising. Friday morning we are increasing the release to
2500 cfs, and will be holding that level through this weekend. There is little additional rain in the forecast;
and Ohiopyle is expected to remain above 4.0’ through
the weekend.

On Thursday, October 27, Conemaugh River Lake was at elevation 903.0’ (NAVD88) and rising. Friday
morning we are increasing
the release from around 2000 cfs to
3700 cfs. We will be holding releases at
the 3500 to 4500 cfs level through the coming weekend, with the pool rising to
near elevation 912.0 before falling back to the target 902 to 904 range.
